Physicians, clinicians, staff and students who are impacted by CST will have pre-training online modules to complete prior to classroom training (where they will learn to use the new clinical information system and associated workflows). Please complete the Privacy and Confidentiality in a Clinical Information System (mandatory) and the Computer Confidence Check (recommended) modules on LearningHub.phsa.ca (formerly the CCRS system) by November 30, 2017. If you have any questions, please contact your clinical educator, PCC or clinical leader.
Training is a key component of implementing the CST project to ensure physicians, clinicians and other staff members have the knowledge and practice they need to confidently use the new clinical information system and associated workflows before it goes live. A variety of learning approaches including: familiarization modules (starting soon), classroom training (begins approximately 6 - 8 weeks before go-live) and workflow rehearsals (practice sessions conducted in the weeks preceding go-live), will be available to support different audiences based on needs. Stay tuned for more information!
