Physicians: Worried about support and productivity after CST go-live? Listen to this podcast

As part of rolling out a new clinical information system, physicians at Lions Gate Hospital and Squamish General Hospital will be going through significant changes to their practice. The good news: help is on the way.

In the latest episode of The Doctors Are In, Dr. Eric Grafstein, Chief Medical Information Officer (VCH/PHC) for the CST project, discusses the support that physicians will receive to help them adapt to the initial loss of productivity that they’ll go through during the go-live period.

Some of the support includes extensive at-the-elbow help, measures to reduce patient volume and the largest up-staffing for any Canadian organization to implement a Cerner clinical information system.
