The implementation teams are working closely with their colleagues in VCH, PHSA and PHC to put in place the new clinical processes, to manage the practical implications of the changes, and to make sure everything runs smoothly once the changes are complete.
Healthcare professionals will work with a dedicated team, which will guide them each step of the way. The CST Implementation Lead is the site’s main liaison with the CST project, who partners with them before design starts with orientation to the CST program and methodology; supports the set-up of their local team and structures; helps with preparing for design sessions; documents and communicates scope, and; aids in the set up of their implementation team and structures. The team will also ensure a comprehensive cut-over plan and go-live support will also be in place. This will be provided by way of virtual clinical and technical response experts, as well as some on-site support (on-site staff will be limited in numbers in accordance with COVID-19 precautions).
As staff become familiar with the new system and workflows, the support model will transition into a stabilization period to ensure staff are supported before, during and after the change. The team will complete a project turn over process to ensure the site knows how to navigate and processes as they enter into stable operations.
These teams include many skilled professionals from VCH, PHSA and PHC and bring together a broad range of expertise, skills and knowledge. Learn more about career opportunities.
